The sillies got me, so I made a little something, then I thought it might be fun to script it up a little, so I did that too, then I thought I wonder if anyone else might enjoy this, so I decided to make it available to all my lovely Evelock customers as a little Holiday Gift.

What is it? Well, have a look:

It's Spring!

Okay, so it's not actually spring yet, but I did see a glimpse of sunshine for a moment there, and some brave flowers are starting to poke their noses out of the ground, so it can't be far away now. Anyway, it's also very nearly Valentine's Day, which make me feel all happy and stuff, so I made a gift. For everyone. All you have to do is visit the store and click on the box beside the flying pig.

What's the gift? Well, it's the bench that you can see in the photo above, and no, the avatars are not included! The photo was taken at a little pond just outside the Evelock Studio. The pond was put there to recreate a version of the real life environment where Sue and I had our first date, and the bench by the pond (yes, there were dragonflies!) was where we first kissed, so what better place to put a romance inspired gift?

You are very welcome to come and relax at "our bench" any time and see how often the dragonflies buzz you. I hope you enjoy it if you do decide to visit, and please do make sure to check out the Lucky Boards inside the store for more fun freebies.

It's Bloomin' Busy Around Here!

So much to do, and so much to tell you about. First, and most important, Evelock is FOUR YEARS OLD! I never dreamed when I set up with a tiny bit of wall at Nova's store that I would wind up with a whole shop covering 3 floors and on its 6th incarnation. I could not have done it without the support of my friends and my customers... so, thank you. Every last one of you.  To celebrate, I'm throwing a party on Saturday 11th June at 3pm SLT, in the Roof Garden of the NEW STORE!

So, that's a PARTY at 3pm SLT, at the ROOF GARDEN on the top floor of the NEW STORE, *this* Saturday, I would love to see you there :)

Also, a bunch of new releases to tell you about, including my first foray into the wonderful world of SLINK shoes! As often happens, I wanted something and couldn't find quite the right thing, so I made it. One thing led to another and all of a sudden, there were 12 new products. Well, 9 really, but with three complete sets, it becomes 12. Anyway, I got a bee in my bonnet about vintage floral prints, and wound up making one, then another two. Naturally they needed to be applied to something...

I'm showing the complete outfits here, but each part is available on its own too. Please do try a demo for the dress, it's rigged mesh, so you can't alter the fit. I was aiming for classically feminine and chic with frills or fuss, and I think I nailed it. A shout out has to go to the lovely Anna for helping me work out what to call them. In the end, with her assistance, I settled on Loren as the name for the range, because I can absolutely see Sophia rocking this particular style. I hope you agree, and perhaps can even see yourself in it too.

You can grab them either in-world (check up to the right for location links) or on marketplace. Don't forget to pick up your free gifts and have a play with the lucky boards too!

I Aten't Dead Yet!

With apologies to Granny Weatherwax, I am delighted to announce that after a bit of a quiet spell, things are moving again on the Evelock front. How about a BRAND NEW STORE, with 3 floors? How about a NEW PRODUCT too? I am happy indeed to bring you both of those.

First, let's look at the new store:

Pretty nifty, eh? I have to confess I'm very excited about it. Some poor souls had to endure my snarls of frustration while I got to grips with the monster that is mesh, and especially the Physics aspect of that; but, with help (especially from Antony) I cracked it and made my own shop!  Built over three floors, it is larger, easier to cam around and move about in, with room for more products. And I added another Lucky Board, to give you a 33% better chance of your letter coming up. So, I guess I had better get busy then.

Three floors can get confusing in a store, so to help out, there is a handy sign just inside the door to show you where to find things. I also avoided that whole first floor confusion that exists, aren't I clever? (Just please don't ask what I'll do when I have four floors!) :

So, the new product. This was previously only available as a 25 for 25 special, which has now sold out, so can be let loose as a main release. The Splash Pool Float is just that... a float for lazing around on in your pool or pond.  Colourchange and loaded with 4 menus, you should be able to find your bliss fairly quickly:

Newness... at a BARGAIN price!

Hello, hello, hello and Happy New Year to you all!

I've been busy in the workshop with various exciting things, more on those later, but I noticed that the Special Offer on the Minim Furniture Set had run out!  So that means it's time for another one.  This time, the Wimsey Set:  A Chaise, a Chair, a Stool and a Floor Cushion in a gently historic/period style.  The pieces are low prim too, so should find a cozy spot in your place quite easily.

NEW Gifts and Lucky Board Prizes

It must be summer, I have heaps more energy in summer.  So I used some of that energy to make NEW gifts for everyone.  There are new gifts in the Lucky Boards, and new gifts in the Mailing List Subscriber AND new gifts in the stores around the grid... don't miss out please!

First up, the Lucky Board Prizes: a fun Bubbles outfit (male and female versions included) and a Hot Choc Giver.  In the stores and in the Mailing List Thingy, the Ladies get a full set of the latest Jewellery release in an exclusive colourway, and the guys get a nifty titfer and buttonhole.  What to do is visit the store for the gift box, and click on the Mailing List Subscriber for the other gifts.  In-world locations just up to the right there :)

And now it's SERIOUS

Okay, so I said I was having a purge... and I did.
I said I was going to reduce some prices... and I did.
I said I would remove some items from sale... and I did.

I said to look out for big changes in the Lucky Boards... that one is still in progress.

BUT

I also said (mostly to the few souls whose rotten luck it is to listen to me rambling) that one day I would have a mainstore location...

... and today, I did. It's right here.

Not the biggest store in SL, but I love it, and I think it's comfortable. Stop by and have a nosey, and help yourself to a cup of hot chocolate while you wait for the Lucky Board to remember your name.  The store is situated in Twilight, a lovely little sim that features Commercial, Residential AND Social stuff - have a wander, and check out the Park, the Art Gallery, the Blues Bar... even the En Garde!

I plan to spend at least a couple of hours there each day, and the first TEN people to catch up with me in-store get to choose any single product from my range entirely free of charge.  To be clear, I mean a physical, two avatars in the same space meeting - with me, in my brand new mainstore :)

Reviewing the Situation :)

Sometimes there are just too many blasted ideas in various half-baked states to deal with, so I'm having a purge.  Over the next little while, I will be going through all my Evelock everythings and clearing out the prototypes, the maybes, the also rans.  I will be removing some items from sale, and reducing others in price, so keep an eye out, both in-world and on marketplace.

In happy, happy news I am once again delighted to have been featured in the SL Fetish Fashion Blog. Deirdre and Lelo were kind enough to say some very nice things about the newest collars.

Look out soon for matching Leash Holders for the Pride Collars, and fairly big changes in the Lucky Boards.

While I'm here, please indulge me for a moment or two while I have the tiniest rant.  I am *seriously* sick to the back teeth with lazy, profiteering merchants who not only fail to support their products, but even lack the basic courtesy to respond to messages.  I do not mean one lonely IM which might be eaten by SL... I mean a whole stream of IMs and notecards in two languages over two months, regarding approximately 5000L$ of product that is, frankly, BROKEN.  This is in no way, in no life and at no time acceptable.


PLEASE, if any of you ever has a problem with any of my products, IM me, notecard me - if you don't get an answer within a couple of days, it means SL has messed up, NOT that I am ignoring you, so please try again.  I never, ever want any of you to feel as angry as I do with the unnamed merchant I just ranted about.

7 Deadly Sins?

I have an issue with calling Envy, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Pride, Sloth and Wrath sins... saying that experiencing any of those things is sinful is essentially saying... Human = Sinner. I can't get with that at all, so I chose to rename them ... they are Passions, and can indeed be deadly when let to run riot, but they are part and parcel of our existence, so let's embrace them :)

To celebrate the Passions, I created a new jewellery set, which I hope you like even half as much as I enjoyed creating it.  It sort of grew out of a teardrop, so I guess it's fitting that it has an organic look:

In the next few days I will be putting a special edition of the set into the Lucky Boards, and will be setting out another special edition in the in-world gift boxes... here's a sneaky preview of the gift set:

Old Friends

Cool catsuit and corset huh?

Sometimes life is glorious... chatting with an old friend can lead to the strangest things. Turns out that my Wench Basic boots match really rather well with a catsuit a good friend of mine made quite some time ago. Wonderful, right?

Well, yes, except that I foolishly hadn't made blue boots, and there IS a blue catsuit... you can see where this is leading, right? Yes, I made the blue ones - and as I was on a roll, I made some green ones and some pink ones too, because obviously a whole NEW fatpack makes more sense than changing the existing one.
