Happy Halloween!!

 Hello!

I'm just about ready to start in on carving pumpkins, how about you? I do love the fun of Halloween, and of course I enjoy dressing up, who doesn't? Sometimes, though, I want to wear something that honours the holiday without being completely OBVIOUS about it, you know?

You can tell where I'm going with this, can't you? Yep, I made another thing! Well, two actually and only just in time for the spooky season too.

The Kelly Outfit is a top and skirt that sit happily enough together that it looks like a dress. Bonus! I love three-in-one deals! One of the most stylish women, in my eyes, is Grace Kelly. She had a classy elegance and beauty that had nothing to do with flashing all the flesh and everything to do with just looking drop dead gorgeous. I believe that if she was around today she might wear something like this outfit, which is how it got its name! Please have a play, the top will work nicely with quite a wide range of bottoms, and the skirt should play nicely with a fair few tops and jackets. Each piece is controlled individually via the HUD, so you can match top and bottom or contrast depending on your mood.

I love this particular style so much that  I plan to make more fabrics for it, so I will be releasing this in small sets. Each set will feature a uniquely designed Evelock fabric and complementary plain shades. So far, I have had way too much fun with:

Bones - Who doesn't want cheeky skeletons dancing across their body?!

Ghost - Just a bunch of ghosts having fun all over your outfit!

Available in Maitreya, Slink Physique and Belleza Venus sizes.

Materials enabled for a gentle sheen as the light passes over you. I've put a rainbow effect across the specular layer for that iridescent touch (only on the silk options, the suede has its own thing going on), but do feel free to mess around and try different tints on the layers, you might find something wonderful! Just take a copy first, in case of disaster :)

One tiny word of warning - I left the outfit modifiable so that you can play with tints. That's great, BUT ... if you change the description of the object, then the HUD will no longer work, so just be careful please :)

Price: 300L$ for a Single style, with 3 different options for the top and 3 different options for the skirt, 9 possible combination via an included HUD.

BUT... for the next 24 hours, in-world only, you get 50% of the price refunded to you instantly! At this display ONLY! HURRY! Of course, if you'd rather pay full price, you can get it on the Marketplace too!

So there you have it, a classy and elegant everyday outfit with a little touch of fun. I do hope you like it!

I hope all your lives are treating you well,

Bright Blessings

Eve :)

A Gift and an Experiment!!

 Hello!!

What a very odd and unsettled year we are having. I'm very grateful for being part of Second Life during this time because without it I fear I would be sitting watching far too much terrible television and just getting fatter.  At least here we can socialise entirely safely!

I make things in fits and starts as many of you will already know, and a burst of productivity usually follows being inspired by something. Well, recently, I was inspired by a tweet that 'did the rounds', to the extent that I felt I had to do something about it. I had to share it.

Why? Well, it's not just amusing, it also has something important to say about how we are as human beings. I find myself musing on it fairly often and debating the rightness and wrongness of it, so I'll let you decide for yourself how you feel about it. I put it in a frame, and you can hang it wherever you like, at whichever size makes you happy.

It's mod and copy so if you like you can just use the frame and replace the image with one of your own.

Now for the experiment part! In the package with the gift, I have put a notecard. We all know that we *should* read included notecards, but knowing and doing are 2 very different things. That's all I will say for now. Except that if you do find out what it's all about... no spoilers, at least not obvious ones, okay?

I do hope all your lives are treating you well,

Bright Blessings

Bound to be Relaxing!

 Hello!

This is feeling dangerously like I might be getting back into something like a regular release cycle, but please don't hold your breath or be surprised if it isn't!

Yes! There is another new release, and this time it's a chair. A great big comfy chair to really spread out and relax in.

***SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY OFFER***

And, in traditional style, you can have it for HALF of the retail price for the first 24 hours ONLY. Only in-world. You go to the store, buy the chair and get half of your money refunded immediately.

***SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY OFFER***

The Bound Chair is a reflection of my eternal search for a genuinely huge, comfortable chair that I can curl up in like that girl in the Lemsip Adverts. Just me? Oh well. I'm taller than most folks in real life and that means that normal sized furniture is frequently uncomfortable for me, so my preference in Second Life is for furniture that gives me room to stretch out.

I like things to be a little stylish too, and I'm a huge fan of piping and such to provide nice neat edges and contrast. Add into that my love for antique maps and you have what became the Bound Chair.

Made with use in public spaces in mind, this chair keeps it clean, with nothing beyond a nice cuddle or a gentle tease to see. Ideal for the social areas of a femdom sim where people want to express their relationships without upsetting anyone.

You can copy and modify the chair itself but the scripts and animations are copy only, so your chair will appear "no modify" in your inventory. 10LI at the provided size - resizing is possible but be aware that the Land Impact may well increase if you do, and the animations will need to be adjusted to fit the new size.

As for how the thing looks, I love options, and I love to mix things up! So, just about every part of the chair can be textured individually, as follows:

Belts - Black, Russet or White

Piping - Black, Russet or White

Body of the chair - Black, Natural, Olive, Russet, Scotland Map, White or World Map

Seat of the chair - Black, Natural, Olive, Russet, Scotland Map, White or World Map

My shaky grasp of mathematics tells me that gives you 441 ways to mix it up... that ought to be enough? If not, turn the whole thing white and go crazy with the edit menu and tinting. Just make a copy first, so that if you mess it up, you can just rezz out a new one!

The chair contains 4 menus.

Just Anyone: 11 Solo animations that should suit any avatar.

Just Miss: 11 Solo animations that will suit the discerning lady who cares about dignity.

Miss & Sub: 13 couple animations that let Miss remind her sub exactly who is in charge.

Snuggles: 11 couple animations along much more romantic lines, for those tender moments.

The solo menus contain a few animations that need props (for example a coffee mug or a book). These will be attached to your avatar (look out for the permissions request) and detached again when you change pose. It makes use of the AVSitter experience, which means that if it's activated on the land, and your avatar has provided permission to the AVSitter experience, all of the attachment stuff will just happen automatically - no muss, no fuss, just relax and enjoy.

I often find that if animation menus get too big, I lose all track of what is where, or what any of it means, and wind up using the 5 that I can remember. This is why I tend to keep menus small and manageable. I believe life should be easy.

Another fabulous feature of the AVSitter system is the ability to easily adjust poses for a perfect fit. When you're happy with the adjusted position, just hit save and the chair will remember your personal setting the next time you sit. Up to 40 avatars' settings can be stored in the chair.

I think that's all the important stuff about this chair, I do hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Price: 600L$ for a chair with lots and lots of options

You can test out the chair at the Studio, of course, and buy it there, or you can head over to Marketplace to grab your copy. Remember, for the next 24 hours, you can get it half price, ONLY in-world!

So there you have it, a great big comfy chair for a lady who loves travel, and who likes playing with options. I do hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

I do hope all your lives are treating you well,

Bright Blessings

Eve :)

If I Were a Rich Girl...

... I would probably spend all my money very quickly!

*** READ ON FOR A SPECIAL OFFER FOR 24 HOURS ONLY, ONLY IN-WORLD ***

Hello! I have another new release for you lovely people. As you know, I often make things as a result of frustrations with what is readily available...

This time, I wanted to wear something that nodded to the vintage style of the 40s and early 50s but didn't DEMAND that I go the whole hog and add victory rolls. Something that looked sexy but not too 'try hard'. I think Gwen Stefani has amazing style and no matter what she wears she looks as groomed as a golden-age pinup, but as fresh and edgy as anyone today. So, the dress had to bear her name, because I think she would absolutely rock this one!

The usual agonies were had over texture options, but it did give me a chance to play with a new fabric design I had, so of course we end up with far more textures than are needed, and with strict and ruthless whittling down, I got it to only 16! I love options, and I love to mix it up, so naturally, I made it so that the top, belt and skirt are all individually changeable via the HUD... scary maths give us the answer of over 4000 possible combinations!

Available in Maitreya, Slink Hourglass and Slink Physique sizes.

Materials enabled for a gentle sheen as the light passes over you. If you're feeling adventurous, do have a play with the tint on the specular layer via the edit menu and see if you can find a colour that delights your soul. But do make sure you are working on a copy so that if you mess up, it's all okay.

One tiny word of warning - I left the dress modifiable so that you can play with tints. That's great, BUT ... if you change the description of the object, then the HUD will no longer work, so just be careful please :)

Price: 600L$ for a 'fatpack' with 4000 texture options

***FOR 24 HOURS, IN-STORE ONLY, YOU WILL HAVE HALF OF THE PURCHASE PRICE REFUNDED TO YOU IMMEDIATELY***

If you'd rather pay full price, you can also grab it from Marketplace. But going to the Studio is the better option if you want to save 50% in the next 24 hours!

So there you have it, a retro yet contemporary dress which I hope you agree is versatile and comfortable in almost any setting!

I hope all your lives are treating you well,

Bright Blessings

Back to School!!

Hello!

I've been busy again. Well, to be truthful, I made this newest release a little while ago and just never got around to boxing it up and making it available... lockdown is good for something, right?

Right now, the world is a terrifying place with an awful lot of wrong things happening. Some I guess are just unavoidable and we have to deal with those as best we can, but the stuff we could have avoided... well, that makes me very angry indeed. I stand firmly with the protesters and the victims of hatred. Please stay safe out there, and be kind. Okay, now that is off my chest.

So, school is an emotive subject, and in Second Life it is absolutely fine to go to school, especially if the teacher has a penchant for discipline, am I right? This new release is my offering to the kinksters of the grid who enjoy a little teacher/student interchange:

8 solo animations for Bad Boys, 8 solo animations for Naughty Girls, and 8 paired animations for Miss and Sub to enjoy. AVSitter experience enabled so there are no poseballs to worry about, and any props needed will just attach themselves to you and go away again when you change pose.

I had a heap of fun making this one, and I hope you have fun using it! Can be got in the usual places, marketplace, or at the main Studio.

I do hope all your lives are treating you well,

Bright Blessings,

Eve :)

SPLOSH!!

It's so HOT today, and this lockdown is getting boring. I just want to laze around in a pool, drinking a lovely cocktail... oh wait, I can! In Second Life at least.

Hello! I do hope you're well. With almost indecent haste, I am delighted to announce the release of another new product. This time, a large ring to float around on!

It changes textures, gives you cocktails, lets you cuddle your sweetie, all while the cool water keeps you chilled and happy. Sounds good? Then head on over to the studio to try it out, or dive into marketplace to grab one.

I hope all your lives are treating you well,

Bright Blessings

In-Creed-ible!

I know, I know, you thought I had died or something. Not true, I've just been very busy relocating and improving my life!

Anyway, it happened again, I needed a thing and couldn't find it, so I made it. This time, a dress. Well, a skirt and a top that look like a dress. I should just show you the sales burble, shouldn't I?

Evelock Creed Dress

Often, I wind up making products because I have an idea for something and can't find anything to realise it in my inventory, nor in Marketplace. This is most especially true of clothing! I don't think I'm any more creative or clever in my ideas than anyone else, but I might have the edge on the stubborn-ness to cling to an idea rather than settle for something 'close enough'.

The Creed Dress is one of those occasions. I wanted formal wear, but I didn't want that over-polished, stiff, uncomfortable formal look. I wanted to feel like I could breathe and move freely in my outfit. So having found the right skirt, the hunt was on for the top that did the right thing. And finally, the textures had to be just right too. And, that is how the 'dress' was born. I made the Wisteria texture first, because I adore wisteria and had already made a fabric texture using them. I wore the dress to a party, and was told in no uncertain terms I had to sell it, which is how it got its name. Thank you, Anna :)

Naturally, more than one texture was needed, and 8 became the magic number. The options are:

Daisies with a fade from white to soft yellow/orange on the skirt

Hibiscus with a fade from white to strong magenta on the skirt

Pansies with a fade from white to violet on the skirt

Poppies with a fade from white to soft red on the skirt

Roses with a fade from white to deep pink/red on the skirt

Ticklish (feathers) with a fade from white to darkest grey on the skirt

Windclock (dandelions) with a fade from white to deep chambray blue on the skirt

Wisteria with a fade from white to purple on the skirt

It looks like a dress, but is actually a matched top and skirt, and you can wear both separately, I think the top looks super cute with shorts or jeans, or a little flippy skirt! Available in Maitreya, Slink Hourglass and Slink Physique sizes.

Materials enabled

Price: 200L$ per single colour, 900L$ per fatpack of 8 colours

So there you have it, a relaxed yet formal 'dress' which I hope you agree is perfect as we move through spring towards summer. Available, as always in the Studio, or on marketplace!

I hope all your lives are treating you well,

Bright Blessings

Eve :)
