Happy Holidays Hombres!

So, guys need gifts too, and all too frequently fall foul of the female domination of all things fashion in Second Life.  I decided to do a little something to redress the balance and added a necklace for the guys to the Evelock Holidays Gift Boxes currently scattered around the grid.  If you already picked a box up and pouted because there was  nothing for guys in it, go back and get another one... it has this necklace in it:

The charm is a rune called Fehu, which represents luck, creativity and prosperity among other things... hope it works for you! Just by the way, this photo is my fault... my thanks to Squishy for modelling.

7 Deadly Sins?

I have an issue with calling Envy, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Pride, Sloth and Wrath sins... saying that experiencing any of those things is sinful is essentially saying... Human = Sinner. I can't get with that at all, so I chose to rename them ... they are Passions, and can indeed be deadly when let to run riot, but they are part and parcel of our existence, so let's embrace them :)

To celebrate the Passions, I created a new jewellery set, which I hope you like even half as much as I enjoyed creating it.  It sort of grew out of a teardrop, so I guess it's fitting that it has an organic look:

In the next few days I will be putting a special edition of the set into the Lucky Boards, and will be setting out another special edition in the in-world gift boxes... here's a sneaky preview of the gift set:

I'm super excited about the lovely review that Deirdre and Lelo gave to my Posture Collar, you can see it here if you're interested.  And I keep on forgetting to say loud enough... many of the photographs you see in my product information are taken by my good friend Squishy Paine. Stand up STRAIGHT dammit!

We all know that good posture is important to avoid back problems in later years, and every little helps.  Actually, true though that might be, the fact is I just love the look of posture collars, so I made one.  Just in simple, classic black for now but if enough people want different colourways I will certainly look into that in future.  I decided to include the bell option on this design, mostly for fun, but also to torment the wench just a little... *chuckles*

We all know that boys are a bit rubbish at two things, and no I don't mean everything they say and everything they do.  I mean of course, having patience, and perhaps because of that, fitting prims accurately.  So, for those boys who are hopeless and/or lazy and/or impatient, I included a no-mod shape with the male collar.  Want to still look like yourself AND wear the collar? Learn to edit prims then!!

3 is the Magic Number

Newness from Evelock!!! Not three new things, but one thing that encapsulates the concept of three... the Trinity set.

This one has been on the bench for a while, and I'm finally happy with it. I was always happy with the custom texture on the large discs, getting the balance right with the other elements and fitting the belt accurately were the challenges.

So, what do you get? Earrings, a necklace, a belt and a charm.  I plan to put charms on my favourite boots, what do you plan to do with yours?  You can get your hands on this set in the usual ways - either in-world or on marketplace. I do hope you like it, and that all your lives are treating you very well.

Loving the smell of NEWNESS

Well, when I heard that Z&A Productions had gone on a bit of a release and building rampage, I felt like I should maybe shift ass a little and get on with something productive.  So... you know how guys always complain that there's not enough good stuff for them? Well, I happen to agree with them, at least where footwear is concerned.

As ever, I know there is really great footwear for guys out there, but I also know that not everyone has that much spare pocket money to splash around all the time.  So, as with the Wench Basic Boots, I set out to create Basic Boots for guys that are simple enough to go with most things, but not entirely boring - and reasonably priced.  The result is.... Stomp.  I hope you like them, I'm pretty happy with them.

Distracting Company

Work has definitely slowed down a tad in the Evelock workshop, and it just might have something to do with these little darlings.  All I can tell you is this... NEVER go hair shopping when bored... it leads to bringing home not one but two kittens.  One belongs to me, and the other to my wench... both are of course the cutest darn kitties SL has ever seen, bar none.

Sadly this retail displacement blights me in rl too.  My rl cat is actually a bag of cat litter that I went to buy for my other (now sadly departed) cat.  I'm beginning to worry a little. If cat litter turns into cats, and hair turns into cats - is it only a matter of time before I am that crazy old cat lady, through NO fault of my own?  Do I have to start eyeing shoes and lingerie with trepidation, lest their feline spirits burst out and infest my life?

So, forgive me for being a touch slow in getting more products out, but you see I have to feed and play with and cuddle my new hair... and my wench's new hair too :)
